Eddy Moors new Rector of IHE Delft Institute for Water Education

Eddy Moors, professor of water and climate at VU Amsterdam, has been appointed as the new rector of IHE Delft Institute for Water Education. He is expected to hold his professorship at the VU, opening up new opportunities for  collaboration in Water Science and Hydrology between VU and UNESCO-IHE.

Moors completed his PhD on the interaction between the atmosphere and the earth at VU Amsterdam in 2012. Moors was also head of the research team ‘Climate change and adaptive land & water management’ at Alterra (the Wageningen Environmental Research group). In his position as Professor of Water and Climate at VU Amsterdam, Moors is part of Amsterdam Water Science. 

Moors will take up his new position as rector of IHE Delft per 1 July 2017.
